 King Asphalt uses Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) in many of our mixes. RAP is the most widely recycled material in the United States. We obtain our RAP from our own milling activities, but we are also here to accept your recycled asphalt if you need to dispose of it. King Asphalt screens the RAP material to separate dirt and asphalt. We then grind the RAP to a desired size for use in our mixes. The dirt is reused on shoulders of roadways or is sold for topsoil. Currently, we use all of our RAP in our materials, so we do not sell it to consumers.
We can accept your material as long as it is relatively free of concrete debris. Please call our office prior to disposal to see if we can accept your material.
