 The West End Zone at Clemson University The West End Zone Project and Memorial Stadium stand as an icon for Clemson University to promote school spirit, recruit top quality athletes and retain high profile coaches. King Asphalt was contracted to provide the highest quality paving that is expected for a project of this magnitude. We were able to adapt to the contractor’s specific needs to complete this project on time. We had to overcome logistics issues in paving while other construction was being completed in a tight area. Our experience in scheduling and resource allocation was utilized to meet a tight schedule and complete the project prior to the first football game.The work performed included:
